Privacy Policy
Effective November 2, 2026
Daila Hub is operated by Edwenson Raphael ("Daila Hub", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use dailahub.com, our apps and our messages (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account: your name, email address, mobile phone number, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and profile details you choose to add, such as a display name, photo, bio, time zone and language.
- Events you host: event titles, dates, descriptions, pages, FAQs, venue or online details, photos you upload, seating charts, custom questions, and the names and email addresses of people you invite to your team or as guests.
- RSVPs: when you reply to an event, your name, email address and any answers you give, such as attendance, meal preference, dietary needs, accommodation requests, custom question answers and the names of your plus-ones.
- Payments: if you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your card or payment details, billing address and receipt email. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages to us: what you send when you contact support.
Information from hosts about guests
If you are invited to an event, the host may have given us your name, email address, phone number, and notes or tags they keep about their guest list. At the door, the event team records when your party checked in and how many people were admitted.
Information collected automatically
- Security and activity records: your IP address, browser or device type, and the time of sign-ins and important account and event actions. We keep these to protect accounts, investigate abuse and show hosts the activity on their events.
- Cookies and similar storage: a secure session cookie that keeps you signed in, a guest session cookie when you open an RSVP link, and browser storage for display settings such as table layouts. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Text-message consent: when you agree to receive verification codes, we record the time, the wording you agreed to, your IP address and your browser type, and keep a protected (hashed) form of your phone number with that record.
- Email delivery: whether our emails were delivered, bounced or marked as spam.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: create and run events, send invitations and RSVP confirmations, show guest lists to hosts, and check guests in.
- To sign you in and keep your account secure, including sending one-time verification codes by text message or email when you request them.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To send service messages about your account, your events and events you have replied to.
- To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
- To fix problems and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Text messages
Daila Hub sends text messages only to deliver one-time verification codes you request for signing in. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies with how often you sign in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out (this turns off text-message sign-in) and HELP for help. See the SMS terms.
How information is shared
With other people, as part of the Service
- Hosts and their teams see the RSVPs, guest details and check-in records for their own events.
- Visitors to an event page see what the host publishes. If a host turns on a public guest list, other visitors may see guests' names and replies. A host can choose to show the exact venue address only to guests who have accepted.
With service providers
We use these providers to run the Service. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service to us.
| Provider | Purpose | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Hosting, file storage, message queues, monitoring, address search | All Service data we store; the address text a host types when searching for a venue |
| Neon | Database hosting | Account, event and guest data |
| Twilio | Text-message delivery | Your mobile number and the verification code message |
| Resend | Email delivery | Recipient email addresses and email content |
| Stripe | Payments and subscriptions | Name, email, billing address and payment details for paid plans |
| OpenFreeMap | Map tiles on event pages | Your IP address and the map area viewed, when a page shows a map |
| Google Fonts | Fonts chosen by hosts for event pages | Your IP address, when a page uses one of those fonts |
For legal reasons
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety or property of Daila Hub, our users or others, or in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of the Service, in which case this policy continues to apply.
How long we keep information
- Account information is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, we disable it, sign you out on every device, cancel any subscription and remove your device and team-invitation records. Some account records are kept after deletion for security, fraud prevention and legal purposes.
- Event content is kept until the host deletes the event, which removes its pages, guest lists, RSVPs and check-in records.
- Guests removed by a host have their contact details cleared immediately and the record deleted after 90 days.
- Text-message consent records are kept as evidence of consent, as the law requires, including after you opt out or delete your account.
- Billing records are kept for three years after an account closes. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its policies.
- Security and activity records are kept to protect the Service and may be retained after account deletion.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your profile in your account settings, and delete your account there.
- You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email support@dailahub.com. We will verify your request before acting on it.
- If you are a guest and want your details removed from an event, ask the host to remove you, or contact us.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where information is processed
We store and process information in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify account holders by email or in the Service.
